Travelling to and from your place of work is not applicable to the above, but travelling between places of work, picking up goods, travelling to do assessments etc would be covered and business insurance would need to be purchased by you. If you are required or elect to drive one of the company mini buses, or other vehicles, you may be required to pass an approved driving course and get authorisation from your manager to drive the mini bus. When driving a company vehicle if you are in any doubt as to its safety or roadworthiness you should call the rescue service that is listed on the inside of the windscreen. If you experience any damage to the vehicle or suspect any problems with the vehicle whilst in your charge you should inform your manager immediately upon your return and leave a note of the problems in an obvious place inside the vehicle.
