Health and Safety at NG Healthcare – Our Policy

We recognise and accept our responsibilities as an employer to ensure as far as is reasonably practicable the health, safety and welfare of our employees. We will ensure our activities are suitably managed so as to control risks to any other persons affected by them, including visitors and contractors.

To achieve this we aim to:

• Provide and maintain work areas and any plant and equipment in a safe and working condition.

• Ensure arrangements are in place for the safe handling, operation, storage and transport of any articles, equipment and substances.

• Provide suitable welfare facilities for use by the staff.

• Promote an open attitude to health and safety issues.

• At all times work to a health and safety standard that ensures compliance with statutory requirements and seeks to improve standards to that of best practice.

• Communicate and consult with our staff on issues affecting their health and wellbeing.

• Provide adequate information, instruction and training and supervision for our staff to enable them to work safely and effectively, and to ensure they are competent.
