Your safety – staying safe

LOITERING

Your own time is important, please do not loiter at work when you are no longer on duty.

MOBILE PHONES

Mobile Phones are prohibited on the Units at any time. These must be stored in your locker.

MOVING AND ASSSISTING

NG Healthcare operates a “no lifting policy“ with regards to manual handling .

Specialist equipment is provided in all homes and all staff are required to use appropriate aids at all times according to the moving and assisting policy. Staff must ensure they have completed the moving and assisting training with NG Healthcare prior to undertaking any handling procedure on duty. The company cannot accept any liability whatsoever for staff who violate the companies moving and assisting policy and procedure, or undertake any form of handling on duty without having completed the necessary training. You must ensure you keep your moving and assisting up to date each year, this is a legal requirement.

PARKING & SPEED OF VEHICLE

Please park in the Staff Car park due to limited space for visitors and other officials. Please maintain your speed limit on the car park to 5mph.
