See the main policy files for more details concerning rights of access etc. Working Time Regulations This legislation aims to protect the health and safety of colleagues by restricting working hours. If you are aged 18 years or above then you may not exceed an average of 48 hours per week over a reference period of 52 weeks. If you wish to work hours in excess of the 48 hour average can do this lawfully by signing an opt-out agreement.
