Gifts Never accept gifts, whether monetary or not, from Residents or their relatives. Ask the relative or Resident to speak to the office about ways in which they might be able to contribute or donate to the home or the Residents. Internet Usage Internet usage across all units and offices is monitored by an external agency and any inappropriate usage is a disciplinary offence. Except where wifi is available in the staff room areas, internet usage must relate to your employment and recreational usage is not allowed at any time. Where social networking and other such sites are used by staff members in their own time they must never relate or name NG Healthcare or individual members of staff, residents, or their guests as this a breach of confidentiality and your conditions of employment. Where the internet is used with the permission of the company or a manager, NG Healthcare accepts no responsibility or liability for such usage, any loss or consequential loss however caused, or virus or breach of data or protection of data etc. to any third party computers, handsets, mobiles, or terminals. It should not be assumed that company internet services are either free from viruses of secure domains. Personal Property Lockers are provided for staff to use and are located in the staff room. When you join us you will be allocated a locker and you will need to provide your own lock. When you leave you must remove the lock, return your uniform/badge, otherwise a charge of £55 will be deducted from your final pay.
